Whales and Icebergs Sighted at The Beach House!

Last week, there were several whale sightings, kicking off another season of great opportunities to see humpback whales, pilot whales, and porpoises amongst other species at the Beach House. These and other whale species frequent Conception Bay and can be seen from The Beach House and The Atlantica during the summer months into September and sometimes even October.

In addition, icebergs entered the bay last week and one small "growler" floated into Portugal Cove nearly a stone's throw from The Beach House and The Atlantica Restaurant.
